PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
Hello Everyone!
Since joining GTC of IFMA in 2013, I have been a part of some amazing opportunities and got to meet a lot of wonderful people. We are all not just acquaintances, colleagues, or friends, “We Are Family”! Without this opportunity, I would not have been able to navigate through the different levels of our organization beginning with committee member and chair of Networking & Events, 2015 Professional Member, Treasurer, Vice President and now President.
I am very excited for the 2019-2020 year! We have a lot scheduled such as great educational events, tours, socials, community events, and the Chapter Appreciation event. Please know that all these events wouldn’t be possible without our great sponsors. On behalf of all the Professional Members, I can’t thank you all enough for all that you do.
With that said, "WE ARE FAMILY. AND FAMILY TAKES CARE OF EACH OTHER." - Corey Taylor

GTC OF IFMA RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE COMMUNITY OUTREACH
The Community Outreach Committee had a great event serving dinner at the Ronald McDonald House on Friday, June 14, 2019. The menu featured ribeye steak, baked potatoes with all the fixings, fresh salad, steamed vegetables, and even spaghetti and sauce. Several families came to eat with us and others made to-go plates to take back to their rooms. In typical facility management fashion, the ice cream truck broke down, but we quickly recovered with fresh ice cream bars delivered just in the nick of time. We also acquired $320 in donations at the June luncheon and collected several supplies to donate to the house. Overall the event was a great success!
