USTDA Advanced Technologies for Methane Abatement Reverse Trade Mission
|
|
|
The Bilateral is proud to have concluded the Advanced Technologies for Methane Abatement Reverse Trade Mission #1 on behalf of the U.S. Trade and Development Agency. Delegates from Algeria, Egypt, and Libya visited Washington, DC, Midland, TX, and Houston, TX, to meet with key U.S.-based companies, manufacturers, and solution providers to procure advanced methane leak detection and abatement technologies and services, and discuss best practices in methane abatement.

Special thanks to the Energy Transition Committee, who actively helped us deliver a robust agenda and experience.

The committee's goal is to support a series of clean energy and climate-conscious programs, reverse trade missions (RTMs), workshops, and seminars beginning in 2023.
The Bilateral and its committee members are committed to supporting the United States’ efforts to accelerate innovative solutions for climate resiliency and addressing climate change while helping global partners transition to net-zero carbon emission economies.

Congratulations to Axiom Space and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
|
|
|
Saudi Arabian astronaut Rayyanah Barnawi returned home safely on Wednesday 31 May, after 10 days on board the International Space Station (ISS). The 34-year-old biomedical scientist made history when she blasted off into space last Monday, becoming the first Arab woman ever to do so.
Congratulations to Rayyanah Barnawi and Ali al-Qarni, and our friends at Axiom Space!
