From connecting at networking events to expanding your knowledge base with topical CLEs and training, our Chapter has you covered.  As we mentioned last year, 2024 brings the ACC Global Annual Meeting to Nashville from October 6-10, 2024. Several thousand in house counsel from all over the world will be in attendance. We are honored to serve as the host Chapter and to be recognized as an organization leader. It's a testament to the strength of our membership and Board the support of our sponsors. Up next on the ACC Tennessee calendar is an exciting event in partnership with Belmont University College of Law. On February 21, Professor Don Cochran will discuss the prosecution of Bobby Frank Cherry, who was convicted in 2002 for his involvement in the 1963 bombing of Birmingham’s 16th Street Baptist Church that resulted in the death of four black schoolgirls. This is an extraordinary opportunity to hear from Professor Cochran, the former U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Tennessee, and a lead prosecutor in the case.
