Interested in Social Enterprise? So are we!
Social
enterprises are businesses designed to tackle social problems, improve
communities, provide people access to employment and training, or help
the environment. And it’s a fast growing sector in Australia.
The Yunus Social Business Centre
here at Griffith University was set up to equip students and the
community with the knowledge, capacity, and opportunities to innovate
and create social impact through business.
The Centre recently launched the Social Entrepreneur in
Residence program. The purpose of the program is to host outstanding
talent in the field of social innovation and enterprise in order to
provide insight on, and contribution to, research, teaching, curriculum
development and other GBS activities.
Click here to find out more about our Social Entrepreneurs in Residence and how you can incorporate social enterprise into your degree. |
