Small Business Boost Program Helps Mississippi Restaurant
Cameron Parker, owner of HP Restaurant Group, LLC, was in need of a substantial loan to fund tenant improvements to a new Chicken Salad Chick franchise in Starkville, Mississippi. The restauranteur already had a 10-year lease on the property but needed additional collateral to fund the improvements on the would-be startup. Since Mr. Parker did not own the property, the only lien a bank could hold on his business was on the furniture, fixtures and equipment (FFE) resulting in his business being undercollateralized. $50K in Disaster Rebuilding Assistance Funds Assists Texas Families After Floods
In June 2018, no one expected a flooding disaster to occur and impact south Texas as deeply as it did. Towns in the Rio Grande Valley were submerged after record-breaking rainfall, some locations receiving up to 15 inches of rain in the course of 72 hours. Read more
