Formulating Effective Treatment Plans for Complex Clients 

May 30 & 31, 2019

Those who have already
taken a foundational training
in DBT will learn
  • DBT-based case formulation
  • Case-conceptualization from a DBT perspective
  • The controlling variables of problematic behaviour
  • Recognize and address secondary targets
  • Avoid becoming polarized with clients
  • Coaching clients in crisis
  • Setting personal limits
  • Strategies to avoid personal burnout
  • Enhanced skills for working with high-risk, multi-disordered clients
