| | | | WHAT'S YOUR MOST MEMORABLE GRIFFITH MOMENT? |
| | Maybe you were the first in family to come to uni, and graduation meant the world to you. Perhaps something a teacher said to you stuck in your mind and changed your world view forever. Or did you meet someone you’ve gone on to share your life with – a partner, a business partner, a lifelong friend? (Just like all these happy pairs who met at Griffith). All of us here in the alumni team (but particularly Nicole) live for your stories – and in our 50th anniversary year, we want to record as many memories as we can. Go on, you know you want to – share your story with Nicole. Need some inspiration? Watch videos, see photos and look up events for our 50th anniversary. |

| | It’s 2016. Koalas in Redland City (Quandamooka) are under threat because dog attacks are at an all-time high. Something has to be done – but how to persuade dog owners to get behind a koala-saving campaign? Enter Professor Sharyn Rundle-Thiele, founding director of Social Marketing @ Griffith, who came up with a rather unexpected solution: a festival for dogs. Did it work? Are dogs and koalas now living in harmony? Find out what happened - and some of the other things Professor Rundle-Thiele and her colleagues are working on. |

| | | | HER CAREER STARTED WITH A GLASS OF WATER |
| | Nikki Bogosavac was sitting in a lecture one day when her lecturer, Dr Susan Grantham, suddenly had an unexpected coughing fit. Nikki’s fellow students sat frozen, embarrassed and not quite knowing what to do. But Nikki? She just acted on instinct – and reached out to help a fellow human, not a teacher. That moment marked the beginning of a mentorship and a friendship that’s seen her fly high in her career – and given Susan new insights into helping students secure that dream job. |
