This year’s ADIPEC in Abu Dhabi was a resounding success, attracting over 205,000 participants from 172 countries, making it the world’s largest energy event. Under the theme "Connecting Minds. Transforming Energy," the event focused on global energy system transformation, AI’s rapid rise, and the growing influence of emerging markets. With 2,200+ exhibitors and 30 country pavilions, ADIPEC underscored the need for global collaboration and innovation to meet sustainable energy goals.

The dinner featured a fireside chat with H.E. Eng. Karim Badawi, Egypt’s Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, and Clay Neff, Chevron’s President of International Exploration and Production. Minister Badawi highlighted Egypt’s commitment to a balanced energy mix, blending renewables with traditional sources like oil and gas. With a goal of 20% renewable electricity by 2030, Egypt is positioning itself as a regional leader in energy transition. Chevron shares this vision and remains dedicated to supporting it through ongoing investment and collaboration.

Business Briefing with Oil and Gas Decision-Makers from the Indo-Pacific

Following highly successful Reverse Trade Missions by delegations from Nigeria, the MENA and LATAM Regions for methane abatement and flare mitigation technologies, the Bilateral Chamber will host the USTDA-sponsored Indo-Pacific: Advanced Technologies for Methane Abatement this December.
|
On December 17, the Bilateral Chamber will organize a Business Briefing in Houston, TX for U.S. companies to meet with senior oil and gas sector decision-makers from India, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand to gain insight into near-term commercial opportunities that support methane abatement projects in the Indo-Pacific region. Specific interests include methane leak detection and repair, fugitive emission measurement, capture and repurposing technology to reduce methane flaring and venting, and tracking and abatement.
