Graduate Hat  Congratulations to those about to graduate!
Graduation.Congratulations to the students getting ready to graduate next month. Graduation ceremonies are a wonderful way for you to celebrate the achievement of obtaining your degree with family and friends. 

The Brisbane Ceremony will be held on Monday 9 December and the Gold Coast Ceremony will be held on Saturday 14 December. Registrations open on Monday 18 November and you can register online via myGriffith > myGraduation.

We look forward to celebrating this wonderful achievement with you!

Scholarships-2019
In 2019 Griffith Business School awarded over $1.2 million in scholarships to support and encourage students in their study endeavours. Our newest scholarships, the BusinessPLUS Future Leaders Scholarships, are designed to support continuing students who have experienced financial hardship and/or educational disadvantage that has impacted their ability to achieve their full potential. 

The scholarships are valued at $2,500 and are open to students with a GPA of 5 or above.

Student Leader Graduation

Family and friends came together to farewell this year's cohort of Student Leaders at a graduation ceremony earlier this week. On behalf of the GBS Community, we want to thank our wonderful Student Leaders who gave back more than 2,000 hours of service to the University and the wider community. 

We look forward to welcoming our next cohort of Student Leaders to the program next year. Applications for the 2021-2022 program will open in July 2020. Stay tuned and find out more on the

The Griffith MBA has been ranked 5th globally, and 1st in the Asia-Pacific region, in the Corporate Knights 2019 Better World MBA ranking released last week. This remarkable result recognises the program's focus on socially responsible and sustainable corporate practices.

2019-AMP-University-Challenge-winnerCrystal wins 2019 AMP University Challenge

Congratulations
 to Bachelor of Commerce student Crystal Palliser who has taken home $5,000 as the winner of the 2019 AMP University Challenge!

Crystal was among the five finalists tested on their technical knowledge, as well as their ability to engage with clients and explain a financial strategy in a mock advice interview.

Crystal competed against teams from Central Queensland University, Deakin University and TAFE NSW.


EnvirofilTackling plastic pollution with a winning idea

Congratulations to business students Hannah LicciardoMakoto Tanabe and Jordan Gifford who won the Griffith Innovation Challenge.

The winning team's idea 'Envirofil' is to create 3D printing filament made entirely from recycled plastic waste; a combination of sustainability and technology advancements.

Congratulations
 also to the runner-up team Samuel Bruhn and Harrison Croaker who received $2,500, and finalist team Jessica NguyenBen Lavery and Miranda Dune
 who received $1,500.

Teah Westerman comfortably stepped into the role of commercial coordinator at Gold Coast Titans as a familiar face in the office.

Less than a year earlier, Teah was an intern with the NRL club's marketing team, learning the ropes and getting a taste of the dynamics of the business.
