| | I am honored to step into the role of President for ACC Tennessee and excited for the opportunity to serve this incredible community. As I begin my term, I want to first express my gratitude to Peter Malanchuk, whose two-year term as President ended on September 30. Under Peter’s leadership, ACC Tennessee has experienced significant growth in both our membership and our mission. We are deeply thankful for his dedication and hard work. | I would also like to take a moment to thank our generous sponsors. Your support is essential to our success, and we are incredibly grateful for your ongoing commitment. Many of you have already signed on to sponsor us again in 2025, and for that, we extend our sincere thanks. We look forward to continuing our partnership with you in the year ahead. | As we move forward, I am eager to build on the strong foundation that has been laid by past leaders and members of ACC Tennessee. Being a member of this organization has played a pivotal role in my own in-house career. The insights, connections, and resources I’ve gained through my involvement have been invaluable in navigating the dynamic and ever-changing landscape of in-house practice. | In the coming months, I look forward to engaging with our membership across Tennessee and continuing to deliver on ACC Tennessee's mission: to provide meaningful networking and educational opportunities that support, connect, and empower in-house counsel. One area of focus will be helping our members prepare for and navigate an ever-evolving business environment tat leads to companies restructuring to adjust to market pressures. Your feedback is crucial to ensuring that our programs remain relevant and valuable, so I encourage you to share your thoughts and ideas. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me, our Board, or our Executive Team with any suggestions on how we can better serve you. | April Berman ACC Tennessee, Board President |

| | What a thrill it was to welcome the ACC Global Annual Meeting here in Nashville this October. We are deeply grateful to all of our members and sponsors who were able to attend and contribute to the success of this incredible event. A special thank you goes to the outstanding team at ACC Global, whose efforts in curating a full schedule of insightful educational programming and valuable networking opportunities truly reflected the energy and spirit of Nashville. | ACC Tennessee took full advantage of the many opportunities presented at the Annual Meeting. At our Tennessee Booth, we proudly highlighted the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, engaging in numerous conversations with attendees about its mission to promote early childhood literacy. It was heartwarming to hear firsthand accounts of the joy that "Dolly Book Mail" brings to families across the nation. | Additionally, we had the privilege of connecting with our exhibit hall neighbor, Strings for Hope. Emily and I were inspired by their mission to repurpose secondhand musical strings to provide employment opportunities for survivors of substance abuse, interpersonal violence, and human trafficking. We are honored to have learned about their important work and look forward to exploring future partnership opportunities with this remarkable organization. | I’m also pleased to share the tremendous success of the 2024 Howdy Hobnob, which we had the honor of hosting in partnership with the Small Law Department Network. From start to finish, the event was a memorable experience. Our guests had an unforgettable time at the lively party held at the Johnny Cash Bar & BBQ, enjoying great food, drinks, and meaningful conversations in a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere. Attendees also had the chance to immerse themselves in the exhibits at the Johnny Cash Museum. For those fortunate enough to receive one of the limited Golden Tickets, the M.A.D.E. by Sanders Hat Company Hat Bar offered a unique opportunity to craft a personalized souvenir. No one left empty-handed, as stylish golf hats and flat-brim hats were also available for attendees to take home at the end of the night. | This year’s Annual Meeting was truly a highlight of 2024, and its success would not have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors and vendors, as well as ACC Global's partnership. We extend our deepest thanks to each of you for your invaluable contributions and look forward to continuing our work together in the future. | Samantha Lunn ACC Tennessee, Executive Director |
