| | | ExxonMobil has signed a production-sharing agreement to explore the Ultra Deep 1 block—over 2,700 square miles off Trinidad’s east coast—marking its return after two decades. The company will invest $42 million in seismic surveys and up to two exploratory wells, with drilling possibly starting in six months. If commercially viable reserves are found, investment could reach $21.7 billion.
