Strengthening Workforce Processes Through Digital Enhancements
As Singapore continues to advance its digital economy, ongoing enhancements to public sector services are enabling businesses to operate with greater efficiency, transparency, and agility. Improvements to workforce-related processes, in particular, play a critical role in supporting employers as they navigate evolving manpower needs.
Ministry of Manpower (MOM) has introduced enhancements to the Work Permit eService on the myMOM Portal, aimed at delivering a more seamless and integrated experience for employers and employment agencies.
With effect from 4 May 2026, new issuance functions are now available on the portal:
đź“„ Reduced administrative requirements with no need to upload hard copy medical reports or chest X-rays.
🏠 Direct updating of workers’ residential addresses and contact details, supporting more accurate and up-to-date records.
đź”” Real-time notifications to provide timely updates on application statuses and support more responsive workforce management.
🔄 Streamlined end-to-end process, enhancing the overall Work Permit journey across application, appeal, and issuance.
đź”– Access to support resources, with employers encouraged to bookmark key materials within the portal.
Further updates will be progressively introduced across 2026 and 2027, and businesses are encouraged to stay informed. Find out more here.

Second Run of 2026: ATA Carnet Workshop
The ATA Carnet facilitates the shipment of goods to a foreign country for temporary purposes like an exhibition or to help an orchestra ship its instruments on tour. Because the exact same goods will be re-exported back to Singapore, the ATA Carnet means that goods can be shipped without having to pay import duties and taxes at each destination. That means significant cost savings for your business.
This half-day in-person workshop will provide participants with all they need to know to apply for and use the ATA Carnet.
Do register early as each session is only limited to 14 participants. Cost includes course materials and light refreshments. A Certificate of Participation will be issued to all participants.
