Dear Members and Friends
As a local Singapore Chamber
with an international focus, we
have been building relationships
with other chambers to benefit
you. We have announced these one
by one as we have signed
Memoranda of Understanding. The
most recent is with the Brooklyn
Chamber.
This week we
want to remind you of all these
beneficial collaborations. They
are beneficial for you because
they can serve as “a home away
from home” when you visit the
respective countries. For
example, you can attend events
at our fraternal chamber’s
members’ rate and interact with
businesspeople to gain local
knowledge and insights. For the
full list of existing
collaborations, please visit
https://sicc.com.sg/about/international-collaborations/.
While
we are on the subject of
beneficial collaborations, our Board Director
Brenda Harvey, Managing
Director, Industrial for IBM, is
based in New York City and is
always willing to meet fellow
members when you’re in town.
Several of you visited Brenda
last year and benefited from
doing so. Brenda is also willing
to facilitate connections and
meetings with her wide network
if you give her enough notice.
You can contact Brenda at
blharvey@us.ibm.com.
Building further on this theme,
this is a good time to remind
you of the Collaboration
Portal on our web site
for you to tap into the
ecosystem with an edge formed by
you and your fellow members.
State your collaboration need
and we will help boost your
post.
Last, but by no means least, if
you have a collaboration you are
proud of, please submit a
nomination for the 2024
SICC Awards for Collaborative
Innovation. Full
details of the award categories
and nomination forms may be
found at
www.siccawards.com.sg.
Have a great week ahead.
Yours faithfully
Victor Mills
Chief Executive
