GAFP Member – Dr. Monica Parker Receives the 2021 Nikki T. Randall Servant Leader Award Annually, during Women’s History Month, the Georgia Legislative Women’s Caucus recognizes outstanding women in Georgia who exemplify the leadership and inspiration embodied by former Representative Nikki Randal. Representative Randall was the first African American female elected to the General Assembly from middle Georgia.

Public Health Commissioner Kathleen Toomey, MD asking for a redirection in the
current distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine.

GHFA Awards $25,000 in First Cycle
Community Health Grants To Support Good Works of GAFP Members
The Georgia Healthy Family Alliance (GHFA) awarded five Community Health Grant Award
applicants $25,000 in first cycle 2021 grants. Grant awards were made to GAFP member
affiliated community organizations that support GHFA program priorities including underserved
populations and programs that promote healthy practices. The application deadline for second
cycle 2021 awards is May 14, 2021.Read More
