Rabobank believes a diversity of products, people and ideas will drive the future of food and ag innovation, and our new FoodBytes! Pitch VIRTUAL offering is the first step.

Welcoming 45 startups from around the world, FoodBytes! Pitch will feature tailored mentorship sessions, one-on-one investor/corporate connections with our growing roster of industry leading partners and continuous media/content opportunities. Selected by an industry-leading panel of judges, 15 of the 45 selected innovators will advance to the final stage of the program, culminating in a livestreamed public pitch competition on Wednesday, December 2.

Applications to FoodBytes! Pitch VIRTUAL are now open, and we are calling all interested entrepreneurs to apply by Monday, August 10!

Alumni Funding Header V2

  • Connecterra, makers of livestock tech, raised a $8.72 Series B round led by Breed Reply, Sistema Venture Capital and Kersia to gain traction in regenerative farming practices.
  • MycoTechnology, makers of mycelium-based functional ingredients, raised a $39M Series D co-led by Greenleaf Foods, SPC, S2G and Evolution VC to expand its product pipeline.
  • Biotech startup Boost Biomes raised a $5.3M Series A round and announced a joint development agreement with Yara International, expanding efforts to co-develop a new product to enhance crops' rate of nutrient uptake from soil.
  • SeedLinked, creators of crowdsourced app for seed growers, farmers and sellers, raised $.5M from Titletown Tech to revolutionize specialty seed development and distribution.
  • Trace Genomics, pioneering soil health, analytics and learning, raised $14.2M in funding led by FMC ventures.
