Japan is the 5th ranked trading partner for the U.S., with total two-way trade reaching $7.7 billion U.S. dollars in 2019. Japan is the most attractive market for high-tech companies supplying components, devices, equipment and software to advanced engineering sectors such as automotive, construction machinery, agricultural machinery, robotics, medical devices, aerospace, marine, electronics, etc.
Taiwan - A Springboard to Southeast Asia
Ranked as the 9th-largest trading partner for the U.S., Taiwan's total, two-way trade was valued at $87 billion U.S. dollars in 2019.
