President's Letter for April 2018

Hello All!

We have been working hard to support some really great events this Spring!

Both of our last course offerings, March and April sold out and we fully expect the same for the upcoming workshop titled "Cyber Heroes - An Introduction to Blue Teaming" being held on May 9th and 10th from 8:30am-400pm at the BlueCross BlueShield of SC Tower Auditorium, presented by Peter Morin.  Sign up at

At our last board meeting, we filled two of the vacant board and leadershlip positions!  Please extend a warm welcome to the chapter's new Vice President Leighton Johnson and new Secretary Brian Kelley.  Your chapter will be well served by their contributions and we are all counting on them to step up and help make the chapter better than ever.

Our chapter continues to experience growth and is currently working to retain current members.  If you forgot to renew your membership, you have been dropped from our official list, but we always welcome you back!  Renew your membership today and come to class at great discounts!

Your chapter, whether you know it or not, is a recognized leader among its peers in the United States.  So much so that we will be hosting a Chapter Leadership Conference in April 2018 in Charleston.  We have such a great opportunity to showcase South Carolina and Charleston to chapter leaders from across the east coast!

As always, if you are interested in volunteering on the board, or at events, please let us know.We have been working hard to support some really great events this Spring!

Tom Scott, SC Midlands ISACA Chapter President
