Hello MassCUE Community!
It was wonderful seeing so many of you at our annual fall conference! It was our best attended event post-pandemic, with 2,400 people in attendance, over 200 presentations from educators across the United States, and over 150 vendors. We also had over a thousand attendees complete our feedback form!
I want to personally thank everyone who filled that out as it will allow us to improve our events moving forward. We take our feedback very seriously and will utilize it in events to come.
A quick reminder, that you can still earn graduate credit from Bridgewater State University, for attending the fall conference! Just follow the link on our website or social media.
We have even more exciting events coming up in November. We hope to see you at our CUEUp in Marshfield on November 9th, CUECamp West in Northampton on November 11th, CUECamp East in Needham on November 18th. Each of these events are great ways to network with fellow educators! Register using the links above.
We are excited to release our request for proposals for our spring conference soon! So stay tuned, as more information is to come. We will also be offering new presenter office hours, for anyone who's unsure if they're ready to present at a conference. We will walk you through the whole process.
Stay tuned, and we hope to see you soon!
Savvy Demers
Executive Director

Influence and Advocacy Committee Update
The US Office of Educational Technology (OET) is hoping to share information about the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) designed to support families in getting access to the internet. They currently have 21 million households that have gained access through ACP but there are 48 million eligible households, so there is still work to be done.
To help to educate families and educational institutes about the program the OET is having a Back to School Connectivity Challenge. OET is hoping this challenge will help get  more families internet connection through ACP.
OET would also like to make schools aware of an upcoming competitive grant that will be available the first of the year. The OET believes it is important to make folks aware of the grant now to help them start to plan so schools and nonprofits aren't crunched for time to apply. Start thinking about the grant and what your school needs may be.
Want to get involved with the Influence and Advocacy Committee? Email Colleen Terrill or Karen Winsper for information on how to share your voice in advocacy.
