PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
What a great golf event we had a week ago. The weather was perfect and the company even better. I saw a lot of familiar faces and some new faces. Our membership numbers continue to grow. The growth is a testament to the community and robust network we’ve built over time. The chapter will continue to provide opportunities for our members to engage with and learn from one another to strengthen those bonds. If you know of someone that could benefit from the chapter, I encourage you to bring them to our events.
I'm excited about the upcoming strategic planning retreat on May 12 and to hear what the 2022-2023 leadership team has in mind for next year. The feedback you provided on our annual survey will help guide the direction of the chapter for years to come. Please consider joining a committee if you want to be a part of the planning process and help move the chapter forward. The minimum time commitment is one hour per month, and you can take on tasks and challenges as your availability permits. Please reach out to anyone on the Board or the Committee Chairs to learn more about how you can contribute to the chapter's success and deepen the connections you have within the chapter.
Travis Dodson
American Board of Pediatrics
President 2021-2022

MAY 11TH PROFESSIONAL ONLY EVENT
Professional Members! Join us on May 11, 2022 to celebrate your contributions to the built environment. The Greater Triangle Chapter of IFMA wanted our Professional Only Event to coincide with World FM day to increase the awareness of what you do for your organizations. The theme of World FM Day 2022 is Facility Management – Leading a Sustainable Future.
Please join us at the Terrace Dining Room at the Carol Johnson Poole Clubhouse for the first Professional Only Event since 2019, where we’ll hear about WELL certification.
As our occupants begin entering back into the workspaces, facility managers will be relied on to deliver more thoughtful and intentional spaces that enhance human health and well-being. WELL includes a set of strategies—backed by the latest scientific research—that aim to advance human health through design interventions and operational protocols and policies and foster a culture of health and well-being.
Please remember that this event is for facility managers only and Onyx sponsors. Immediately following the Professional Only event will be our Annual Sponsor recognition social and networking event.
REGISTER HERE- Registration will close on Friday, May 6th!
