New Recording Lab Opened in Coates Hall
The School of Library & Information Science held a Ribbon Cutting in October for their new Recording Lab in Coates Hall. The event included tours of the Recording Lab, archival facilities and equipment, SLIS offices, and a reception. The Lab is primarily utilized by faculty for their distance courses, but may be requested/scheduled by appointment for LSU faculty, staff, and students.

Dr. Kip Webster Named Fulbright Scholar
Dr. Kip Webster (SOK) will travel to the Czech Republic this month to work with the Faculty of Education at Palacky University to share research on early childhood motor development and physical activity with a distinguished group of researchers who share similar research interests and goals.
