During the 2021 General Assembly session and at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic,
Representative England, in his position as Chairman of the House Appropriations
Committee, successfully fought to restore funding to the Georgia Memory Net program
that was facing cuts due to budget shortfalls because of COVID-19.
