Population Health Buzz, News for Community Care Alliance.

June 2019

WHA’s Community Care Alliance (CCA) is your centralized, cost efficient support infrastructure that provides population health solutions and value-based contracts with various payers. Starting July 1st, you’ll see a consolidation of our current San Juan and Rocky Mountain ACOs into the brand new Western ACO. The new ACO will include all current ACO participants and span the entire western slope and part of UT. We also have three new participants coming on board July 1st – welcome Moab Regional Hospital, HopeWest, and Paula Kadison, MD. Stay tuned for more news on this exciting initiative.

CCA News

As the temperatures begin to rise, so do concerns of flooding in many of our rural communities. Our thoughts go out to those in Lake City and our friends at Lake City Area Medical Center who are preparing for potentially disastrous flooding. A recent article in the Colorado Sun describes the severity of the flood threat and how the town is preparing – read article. There are numerous ways people can help from donations to simply lending a hand to those in need. Please contact Jessica Whiddon, Executiive Director for the Medical Center at jesswhiddon22@gmail.com or 970-944-2331 for more information on how you can help.
