Bahamian Riviera Meeting Planning Overview

Located on 3,000 feet of white-sand beach along the north shore of New Providence Island (which is home to the capital city of Nassau), the long-awaited Bahamian Riviera is set to debut in late March 2015. With the 1,000-acre, $3.5-billion destination gaming resort Baha Mar as its centerpiece, the destination comprises five luxury hotels, a 100,000-square-foot casino, a 2,000-seat performing arts center and art gallery, two spas, 40 restaurants and bars, an 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, 30 designer retail boutiques and more than 20 acres of landscaped beach and pool experiences. Combining the over-the-top opulence of Las Vegas with French Riviera flair, Baha Mar is brimming with every luxury resort amenity imaginable, as well as plentiful unique and appealing Bahamian Riviera MICE venues.

Baha Mar is located approximately 10 minutes from Nassau's newly expanded Lynden Pindling International Airport.

There is an estimated 200,000 square of indoor and outdoor meeting space here. Chief among MICE venues, the Baha Mar Convention, Arts & Entertainment Center, which is part of the 1,000-room Baha Mar Casino & Hotel, offers 82,000 square of flexible meeting space, and can acccommodate up to 3,000 guests in the Baha Mar Ballroom. Other Bahamian Riviera MICE hotels available to groups at Baha Mar include the the 707-room Grand Hyatt at Baha Mar, the 300-room SLS at Baha Mar, the 200-room Rosewood at Baha Mar, and the 694-room Melia Nassau Beach upon completion of extensive renovations.

For unique MICE venues in the Bahamian Riviera, options include the performing arts center and art gallery, beach and pool areas, restaurant private rooms, and a variety of outdoor function areas in tropical garden settings.

Outside the confines of the luxuriously appointed meeting rooms, attendees can relax by gaming at the casino, playing golf at the onsite TPC at Baha Mar, lounging at one of the 14 swimming pools, luxuriating at the 30,000-square-foot destination spa, taking a day trip to Nassau or perusing the art gallery with the largest curated collection of Bahamian art in the Bahamas. For beach lovers, there's a 20-acre Beachside Sanctuary with beaches, lagoon pools, and native flora and fauna. Shopping enthusiasts will gravitate to Baha Mar's Waterside Place, which offers high-end international boutiques, local artisan shops, and restaurants. Or relax at ESPA, the world-famous spa brand.

Finding a dining experience won't be difficult with more than 40 restaurants and bars located on the Baha Mar property. Top chefs have been recruited to craft creative cuisine; signature dining at the Casino includes Katsuya, Deuce Steak House, and Brasserie des Arts (to name a few); as well as casual dining and quick bites located throughout the resort. Nightspots include - but are not limited to - Bond Nightclub, designed by Lenny Kravitz' Kravitz Design.
