Bali, Indonesia Meeting Planning Overview
Aptly called the "island of the gods," Bali is one of the smallest, and most famous, islands of the Indonesian archipelago. With such notable cities as Kuta, Nusa Dua, and the capital, Denpasar, Bali features sun-kissed beaches, volcanic landforms covered by forests, terraced rice fields, and vibrant arts and nightlife. The island also houses an inspiring range of world-class meeting facilities and hotels.
Bali is accessible through Ngurah Rai International Airport, Indonesia's third-busiest airport. Located in southern Bali, the airport is served by a number of international airlines and tourist charters, connecting Bali with Southeast Asia, Australia, and the rest of Indonesia.
The airport is about eight miles from the Bali International Convention Centre (BICC), in Nusa Dua, an area known for its luxury hotels. The BICC is in easy walking distance of deluxe hotels and features indoor and outdoor venues, dozens of versatile function rooms, and picturesque grounds.
