Everett, WA Meeting Planning Overview
Set on beautiful Port Gardner, Everett is just 25 miles north of Seattle but worlds away from the urban hustle and bustle. With its beautiful views of the Olympic Mountains, the Cascades, Mount Baker, and Mount Rainier, Everett is an outdoor recreation haven, as well as a great spot for downtown and waterfront shopping, dining, and group activities. This meeting hotspot is home to more than 30 city parks and the second-largest marina on the West Coast, complete with an authentic 1890s marketplace and the Everett Naval Station.
Visitors can fly into Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, which lies about 40 miles outside of Everett. Once in town, meeting attendees can navigate the region aboard the Everett Transit bus system, Sounder train system, Amtrak, Greyhound, and the Washington State Ferries system.
Everett's major meeting venue is the Edward D. Hansen Conference Center at the Angel of the Winds Arena, which features nearly 14,000 square feet of event space, including the 11,385-square-foot Grand Ballroom; an additional 57,000 square feet of exhibition space is available in the arena and community ice rink.
