This gritty, blue-collar city 70 miles northwest of Detroit was made famous in 1989 by documentary filmmaker Michael Moore ("Roger & Me"). Since then, much has been done; now, many of the city's finer building have been redeveloped and renovated, and Flint event venues are rising to the challenges of a post-GM economy.
