Getting Here

The main airport for air travel to Maui, Kahului Airport (OGG) provides two runways, serving an average of 350 Maui flights per day. The airport is an open-air building that greets guests with gentle breezes. To many, this is Maui’s way of delivering a welcoming “aloha”—a refreshing first breath of sweet, Hawaiian air. Many large air carriers offer direct flights to Maui from approximately 20 cities in mainland North America. Key Maui airlines include Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Hawaiian Airlines, United Airlines and Virgin America. Kahului Airport is unusual for Hawaii, because it offers so many direct non-stop flights from North America—but none at all from Asia. Inter-island Hawaiian air travel is easy and frequent, with regular Maui jet service to Honolulu, the Big Island (aka Hawaii Island) and Kauai. Commuter planes and ferries travel to the neighbouring island of Lanai. Kahului Airport also offers Maui private jet facilities, and the Four Seasons limousine service has appropriate permissions to pick up guests plane-side on the tarmac. It’s typically a 25- to 30-minute drive from the airport to the Resort.

World Class Snorkeling and Diving

Recreation
Molokini is a crescent-shaped, partially submerged volcanic crater which forms a small, uninhabited islet located in ʻAlalākeiki Channel between the islands of Maui and Kahoʻolawe, within Maui County in Hawaiʻi. It is the remains of one of the seven Pleistocene epoch volcanoes that formed the prehistoric Maui Nui island, during the Quaternary Period of the Cenozoic Era. The islet has an area of 23 acres, a diameter of about 0.4 miles, is 161 feet at its highest point, and is located about 2.5 miles west of Makena State Park and south of Maʻalaea Bay. The islet is a Hawaiʻi State Seabird Sanctuary.

Horseback Riding

Recreation
Step into the boots of a real life Hawaiian cowboy, mount a horse and ride through lush green pastures and fragrant eucalyptus forests that are set against the backdrop of majestic ocean and Haleakala mountain views.

Bamboo Forest (Pipiwai Trail)

Recreation
The Pipiwai Trail is a 4-mile hiking trail located on the island of Maui in the U.S. State of Hawaii. The hike leads up to the Makahiku Falls and Waimoku Falls. The trail is located in Haleakalā National Park and is generally well maintained. The trail runs around the Ohe'o Gulch Stream; notable locations passed include the bamboo forest and giant banyan tree.

La Perouse Bay

Historical landmark
Haleakala's last display can be seen on Maui's southeast shore at La Perouse Bay. Scientists estimate that in 1790 Haleakala erupted to form the jagged lava rock coastline. Now there is a monument and ruins of Hawaiian natives who made their home on the sharp a'a lava rock. La Perouse is the end of the road, literally, in south Maui. It is located at mile marker 7 at the very end of Makena Alanui Road. From Kihei take Piilani Hwy south to Wailea. Turn right on Wailea Iki road and bear left on to Wailea Alanui Road which turns into Makena Alanui. Look carefully around you as you drive between mile markers 5.5 and 7. On either side, you should see fields of a'a littering the landscape.
Kihei, HI, US 96753
