Mesquite, NV, is one of the premier meeting and event destinations in Southern Nevada. With close to 60,000 square feet of meeting space, Mesquite venues attract groups who enjoy a small community with multiple golf courses, great deals on dining and spa treatments and proximity to several world-famous national parks.
Located 80 miles from Las Vegas and 300 miles from Salt Lake City, Mesquite is in the heart of the Virgin River basin and accessible from both McCarran International airport and Cedar City airport.
Several event venues in Mesquite are known for their Las Vegas-style quality and small-town personal attention. The 450-room CasaBlanca Resort and Casino offers over 70,000 square feet of flexible meeting space and a 600-seat showroom. With 2,000 square feet of meeting space, Virgin River Hotel and Casino can accommodate up to 56 people in its River Room and also features the Oasis Gun Club that is open to the public. Eureka Hotel and Casino now offers a new Aquarium experience that can be transformed into an event venue for up to 100 guests. (It also has a column-free, 3,600-square-foot ballroom.)
While many guests enjoy its famous buffets, Mesquite also offers several elegant dining restaurants. Gregory's is known for its extensive wine list and private dining space. For great deals on classic surf-and-turf and serious steaks, try Katherine's.
Mesquite is home to seven golf clubs, most notably Cal Olsen-designed CasaBlanca Golf Club (which hosts the annual Nevada Open); the Arnold Palmer-designed course at Oasis Golf Club, ranked among the top 10 public courses by Golf Digest; and the Conestoga Golf Course, landscaped with numerous water features and spectacular elevation changes. The Oasis Golf Club and Falcon Ridge offer private dining space overlooking the greens.
Mesquite can be an excellent launch pad for exploring the spectacular natural wonders of the Southwest. The Valley of Fire State Park, known for its bright-red stone formations and Native American petroglyphs, is just a few minutes away. For a half-day incentive trip, consider Cedar Breaks, Bryce Canyon, or Zion Canyon, which are spectacular any time of the year. In the summer and fall, the Grand Canyon North Rim offers one of the most spectacular sights in the world.
