Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky (TANK) and Southbank Shuttle

Northern Kentucky's public bus system, Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky (TANK) has served Boone, Campbell and Kenton counties, as well as downtown Cincinnati since 1973. TANK operates 27 routes daily and serves nearly four million passengers per year. Business travelers can easily navigate Northern Kentucky via TANK, as the TANK transit center is located adjacent to the Northern Kentucky Convention Center and the TANK Airporter route provides direct access to the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. TANK fares are $1.50 one-way, while a day pass costs $3.25 and a 10-ride pass costs $13.50. Special TANK rates are available for convention participants.

TANK also operates the Southbank Shuttle, which connects the Northern Kentucky Convention Center to attractions and hotels along the Ohio River throughout Newport and Covington, as well as downtown Cincinnati. The Southbank Shuttle runs Monday through Thursday from 6 AM to 10 PM, Friday from 6 AM to midnight, Saturday from 10 AM to midnight and Sunday from 10 AM to 10 PM. Shuttle fare is $1 one-way, $4 for a day pas, $10 for a three-day pass and $15 for a five-day pass.

Amtrak (Cincinnati)

Visitors to Northern Kentucky can use the Cincinnati Amtrak station, located at 1301 Western Avenue. The Cincinnati Amtrak station is located less than three miles away from the Northern Kentucky Convention Center.

Greyhound (Cincinnati)
