Situated on International Drive, the Orange County Convention Center consists of two buildings, the North/South Building and West Building, which are connected by a pedestrian bridge, the Oversight Bridge.

The North/South Building is a three-story, 3 million-square-foot structure with exhibit halls located on the first floor and meeting rooms located on the second and third floors of the building. For outdoor events, the second level of the North Concourse has an open-air, uncovered area with 24,350 square feet of space.

Across the street, accessible by pedestrian bridge, the West Building is a four-story, one-half mile long building, with the exhibit halls located on the second floor of the building. Special event venues include the 2,643-seat Chapin Theater, a state of the art, maximum acoustically-designed venue; the Lecture Hall, a 4,100-square-foot hall with seating for 200 and the Valencia Room, a multi-purpose 62,182-square-foot dining and general session venue that can accommodate up to 6,000 people and can be subdivided into two or three individual rooms.

The Orange County Convention Center is situated 13 miles from the Orlando International Airport is easily accessible via State Road 528, which connects to Interstate 4.

Nearby Orange County Convention Center hotel venues comprise more than 35,000 hotel rooms in the International Drive area, with easy access to the convention center. Major hotels adjacent to the center are the 800-room Rosen Plaza Orlando, 1,334-room Rosen Centre Orlando and 1,641-room Peabody Orlando. Other nearby hotels include the 1,417-room Hilton Convention Center and 781-room Renaissance Orlando Resort Seaworld. For golfers, the 1,500-room Rosen Shingle Creek Resort has an 18-hole championship golf course situated three blocks from the center.

Across the street (International Drive) from the Orange County Convention Center, venues dining, shopping and entertainment can be found at The Pointe Orlando, which has more than 40 specialty shops and restaurants and a 20-screen movie theater with an IMAX theater.
