Lakeside living has it’s advantages. Like most locals, ALEX loves spending time on the water. Either experienced Stand Up Paddle (SUP) boarders or beginners, we can organise your equipment and instructor. The clear, cool and flat waters of Lake Zurich are a perfect spot for trying something new. ALEX organises SUP tours or training sessions for small groups. If you like to make waves our Guest Service team recommend booking some open water exhilaration. Picking you up from our jetty, you’ll be taken to some clear water for some water-ski or wakeboard action. All levels accepted and equipment provided.

We will take you and your pic-nic to the Adliswil Cable Car that takes you to The Planet Trail, where your journey begins. Panoramic views over Zurich and the lake are beautiful and breath-taking. Trekking amongst nature the trail takes you from Felsenegg on a 6 km hike to the peak of the Uetliberg, Zurich’s local mountain climbing 871m high. The steady climb generally takes around 1 ½ hours depending on your pace. Coming down is always an easier walk, or even better if you take the train. Back at ALEX a glass of Riesling or Klevner await all intrepid explorers.
