Welcome to the CSET Arts Content Advisory Committees Application Form

Please complete this online application form to be considered for CSET arts content/test development opportunities.

The application will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. First, you will be asked to indicate the test/content areas in which you are interested and qualified. You will also be asked to indicate any experience you may have advancing visual and performing arts education and programming for school-aged children, either in or outside of traditional school settings. Please complete all sections that pertain to your background, education, and experience.

After your application has been received, your qualifications will be reviewed by Evaluation Systems and will be sent to the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) for review with regard to available committee spaces. If you are selected to participate on a committee, you will be sent an email invitation with information on upcoming activities. If all committee spaces are filled, we will keep your application on file for future consideration.

Please note:  To participate in a CSET Subject Matter Advisory Panel, you must agree not to take the CSET in the content area to which you are applying (e.g., Music, Art, Dance, or Theatre) or the CSET: Multiple Subjects Subtest III for three (3) years unless legislation requires you to take the CSET to maintain your teaching, administrative, or school support services credential, or to obtain an additional credential.

The CTC is committed to having diversity among individuals participating in the development of the CSET program by including representation of geographic regions, racial and ethnic groups, gender, and individuals with disabilities. To enable the CTC to accomplish this goal, you are asked, but not required, to provide this information.

Please contact Evaluation Systems group of Pearson at EvaluationSystemsCRG@pearson.com if you have any questions about the application process or require additional information.
