Welcome to CyberVetsUSA, an industry-led initiative that provides FREE online training, certification and employment opportunities to transitioning service members, veterans, National Guard and Reservists, and military spouses looking to enter the cyber workforce! Offering the latest cyber courses (see offerings below) and certifications from industry-leading tech companies, CyberVetsUSA is a skills-to-jobs pathway that aims to fast-track veterans into high-demand cyber careers. NOTE: CyberVetsUSA is currently offering priority access to veterans seeking employment in the following targeted states: Arizona, Maryland, North Carolina, and Virginia. Candidates outside of these target locations will be accepted based on availability.
How Does It Work?
Explore Course Offerings:
IT/Cyber courses are available primarily as self-paced, online trainings to be completed within a 12-14 week time frame. Depending on current skills, personal learning preference, and available time commitment, participants can pick the course that best suits them.
Training consists of the following six tracks:
Participants who successfully complete the program will be prepared for an industry certification and entry level cyber positions. The following is a list of the current CyberVets course offerings aligned to the respective job path:

Register for CyberVetsUSA:
Interested candidates can complete the interest form form to receive a link to register for CyberVetsUSA. Once submitted, an enrollment adviser will reach out to determine the individual learning path and available training options.
Industry Certifications:
Once the course is completed, a free voucher is offered to the participant to obtain an industry certification for the related cyber course. Participants are highly encourage to complete the relevant certifications offered as these credentials are highly valued by employers.
Mentoring & Career Resources:
During training, participants will gain access to academic advisers, mentors, and virtual communities to enhance their learning experience. In addition, career resources (including resume writing, interview techniques, and career exploration) will be made available to those who achieve a 30% course completion milestone. Additional support may be provided to those who successfully complete the industry training, including career coaching and job placement.
Employment Connection:
Employment is a key success metric for CyberVetsUSA, and we want to ensure veterans have direct access to meaningful employment opportunities. Therefore, participants will be invited to join the Talent Bridge for Veterans job-matching engine, sponsored by Cisco, to build their professional profile and explore real-time job openings from hundreds of employers looking for qualified tech talent.
