It’s finally revealed! Cvent CONNECT Europe 2021 will be hosting its delegate after-party on 5 October at the UK capital’s newest hotel, The Londoner.

Taking centre stage in Leicester Square, this will be a unique opportunity for many planners to experience Edwardian Hotels’ ‘super boutique’ property, following its September opening.

The Londoner features 350 guest rooms and suites across 16 storeys, plus a tower penthouse with panoramic views, two private screening rooms, a mix of six concept eateries - including bars and a tavern, al fresco dining on the ground floor and a contemporary Japanese lounge bar with a rooftop terrace and fire pit - plus an expansive ballroom and a variety of meeting spaces.

Cvent CONNECT Europe in-person attendees are invited to the after-party as part of their delegate package, whilst free-to-attend virtual registrants will need to request a ticket, subject to availability.

Being among the first to experience The Londoner, is just one of the reasons to attend Cvent CONNECT Europe, taking place at InterContinental London - The O2 on 5 October and online during throughout the 5 and 6 October.

“We understand that the in-person content needs to be of the highest quality to entice people to come so we’ve really gone for it, enabling delegates to plan a tailored on-site experience by filtering the agenda that’s on our website according to their objectives,” Felicia Asiedu, Senior Marketing Manager, Event Cloud, Cvent says. “So if, for example, you want to focus on sessions specifically for the marketer, planner or hotelier, you can search by audience. Or, if you want to learn more about a specific Cvent solution to say, budgeting, lead capture or content management, you can search by these parameters too.”

Cvent CONNECT Europe will be divided up into several tracks, including “How to & Best Practices’, ‘General Sessions’, ‘Empowered Leaders’ and ‘What’s Trending’.

Within the ‘General Sessions’, sits the ever-popular Product Roadmaps aimed at informing marketers and planners or suppliers and venues of the very latest or upcoming Cvent technology upgrades.

Also, as part of the General Sessions is another CONNECT evergreen - the keynote from Cvent CEO & Founder, Reggie Aggarwal.

“Everyone loves Reggie’s annual keynote as he talks to so many customers over the course of the year and is really tuned in to what’s happening in the market,” Karla Pearce, Senior Marketing Manager, Hospitality Cloud, Cvent says.

Other keynotes planned for Cvent CONNECT Europe (both in-person and online) include Alexandra Willis, Marketing and Communications Director at the All England Lawn Tennis Club, who will discuss how Wimbledon weathered the storm of the pandemic, and First Dates host, Fred Sirieix who will talk about a people-first approach to hospitality.

“Our Empowered Leaders track will feature sessions on diversity, sustainability and confidence, while our ‘How to’s’ will cover understanding hybrid meeting attendees, event design, creativity and data insights,” Asiedu says. “For those just wanting to be back in the room with suppliers discovering what they’ve been up to and how to make sense of all the developments from the past year, the Innovation Pavilion is the place to head.”

Hannah Farrell, Senior Client Success Advisor, Cvent sums up the industry mood around CONNECT Europe by concluding: “It’s so exciting, I just can’t wait to be back in the room with customers and industry colleagues. It’s going to be a fantastic show and being one of the first to visit The Londoner in Leicester Square as part of the CONNECT delegate experience is just the cherry on the cake.”
