PPL Center is a sports arena in Allentown, Pennsylvania that opened on September 10, 2014. Its naming rights are owned by the PPL Corporation, which is headquartered in Allentown. PPL paid an undisclosed sum over 10 years.

Coach J. Birney Crum, who died in 1981, was one of the state's winningest football and basketball coaches. of all time and was inducted into the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame in 1975. He was also a charter inductee into both the Lehigh Valley Basketball Hall of Fame in 1978 and the Lehigh Valley Football Hall of Fame in 1982. ASD Stadium was renamed J. Birney Crum Stadium in 1982.

70 Years of Growth Air Products was established in 1940 in Detroit, Michigan, on the strength of a simple but then revolutionary idea: the “on-site” concept of producing and selling industrial gases, primarily oxygen. At the time, most oxygen was sold as a highly compressed gas product in cylinders that weighed five times more than the gas itself. Air Products proposed building oxygen gas generating facilities adjacent to large-volume users, thereby reducing distribution costs. The concept of piping the gas directly from the generator to the point of use proved sound and technically solvable.

Allentown Airport opened in 1929 and is one of the very few in the nation that still serves its community from its original location. Scheduled airline service began on September 16, 1935 by United Airlines with Boeing 247 service. At the time, the airport hangar served as the passenger terminal. The first terminal building at the airport was built in 1938 as a Works Projects Administration (WPA) project. Throughout the 1950s, both passenger service as well as air cargo service expanded at ABE. Eastern and Allegheny Airlines began service. In 1960, both Vice President Richard Nixon and Senator John F. Kennedy made campaign stops at ABE. Construction began in late 1972 for the new terminal, which was opened on December 14, 1975. Today Lehigh Valley International Airport continues to serve the Lehigh Valley.

Becky's was voted "One of the Best Movie Theaters" in the Lehigh Valley area in the Morning Call's Readers Choice Awards for 2004 and 2006. Last year, Becky's Drive-In was voted "Best Drive-In Theater" in the Lehigh Valley area, a new category in The Morning Call's Readers Choice Awards. Becky's was also recognized by being voted "The Best of the Best" in Showmanship by the Drive-In Theater Fan Club in 1996, and was also included in the New York Times "10 Drive-Ins Worth a Detour" by Don and Susan Sanders in 2002. We have Pony Rides on Fridays and Saturdays when we feature PG & PG13 movies geared for children. Also, along with reasonable prices, we have a wide variety of food at the Snack Bar. Our menu includes: Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, French Fries, Pierogies, Onion Rings, Mozzarella Sticks, Pizza, Ice Cream, Soda, Candy, Soft Pretzels, Nachos and of course Buttered Popcorn (with 100% pure butter). Check out our special Chili Dogs with our extra special chili sauce! We have FM STEREO, so not only do you get the sound through your car radio, it sounds even better if you have a boom box! Radios can be rented (a form of ID and a $1.00 fee for radio rentals) at the projection booth if needed. We now have two movie screens with double features showing on both screens. Screen 1 holds 450 cars and is 80' x 50' in size. Screen 2 holds 250 cars and is 66' x 33' in size. Each row is well trimmed with grass to help you relax and enjoy the double feature on your blanket or chair. Just remember, there are things to do and food to eat before the movie starts, so come early!
