About us
The George is a lovingly run pub in the Peak District, with lime-washed walls and a log fire. The dining room and snug have been restored to their original simplicity with lime plastered walls and farmhouse furniture. Candlelight and fresh flowers add a touch of elegance. We can host your private party either in the dining room of the pub - small parties only - or in the Coach House, to the rear of The George. The rooms in the Coach House offer a completely private and intimate venue for up to forty guests.
