About us
Nestled along the large riverfront setting resides Shangri-La Bangkok, an enchanting riverside retreat in the heart of a very vibrant city. With direct access to trains, ferries and buses, the hotel is a lovely gateway to discover bustling Bangkok. The hotel has a total of 802 rooms including 72 suites in two wings, Shangri-La and Krungthep, and is adjacent to the Saphan Taksin station of the Skytrain, Bangkok’s elevated metro system. Our lush garden resort setting in the heart of the city, wide range of state-of-the-art meeting facilities, and attentive service makes the Shangri-La Hotel an ideal social and meeting venue in Bangkok. The magnificent Grand Ballroom can accommodate over 1,000 guests at an elegant banquet, up to 1,500 people for cocktail receptions, or 1,600 delegates seated theatre-style. Twenty-six function rooms are also available for smaller gatherings.
