About us
HOTEL OVERVIEW Our story began in 1987, sparked by the singular vision of legendary developer and civic leader Norman Leventhal. Looking out over a then-neglected industrial shoreline here at Rowes Wharf, he envisioned a transformative future: one where the harbor waters were healed, the barriers between city and sea dissolved, and the waterfront reclaimed for the people. Steps from the Financial District, the Freedom Trail, and the city's modern pulse, we proudly serve as Boston’s only Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five Diamond waterfront hotel. We remain distinctive in our ambition to welcome all through the art of luxury—a legacy we continuously propel forward through thoughtful modernization. GUESTROOMS At the edge of the water, where the harbor meets the city, each stay unfolds at its own unhurried pace. Our rooms and suites are designed to feel both welcoming and refined, offering a sense of calm that carries from morning light to evening glow. The hotel features 232 guestrooms, including 26 suites.
