In the tranquil surroundings of 27 acres of Cheshire woodland, 4 Star Macdonald Craxton Wood Hotel & Spa has the air of remote isolation yet is just a couple of minutes from motorway links and 10 minutes from the historic city of Chester. Deceptively easy to reach, we’re just 15 minutes from J10 of the M53 which connects to the M56, leading to Manchester city centre under an hour away. Chester Station is around 10 minutes’ drive while Manchester Airport can be reached in just over half an hour. In the other direction, Liverpool is just half an hour’s drive away. OUR FACILITIES Our self -contained conference centre is ideal whether you’re planning a conference for 300 delegates, or intimate boardroom meeting. A choice of six rooms provide a range of options, each flooded with natural light and with views that bring the beauty of the outdoors in. Our stunning Craxton Suite can be split into two conference rooms or combined into one large function room with ample space for 300 guests. A private reception lounge with 4 bars and direct access to the outdoors, make it ideal for exhibitions, conferences, gala dinners and large events. A choice of air conditioned rooms with views over the garden provide space for up to 50 and provide a stunning backdrop to your strategy session, training meeting or AGM. Our boardroom is perfect for interviews and meetings. Free and unlimited WiFi keeps you connected while AV equipment is available to ensure your technical needs are catered for. Our collection of 72 bedrooms deliver stunning views and many located in the original manor house retain superb original features. Find a work-relaxation balance at our recently upgraded health club and spa, or relax in the 27 acres of woodland and gardens before enjoying gourmet dining at our Craxton Wood Grill.
