The Savute region has long been linked to ancient travellers through this region that adapted to the harsh environment to form thriving communities. With the abundance of game in the area, the pot was always full and they settled in the area for a period of time. Thought to be thousands of years old, these rock paintings on the rocky outcrop depict animals that these people would have seen and lived alongside. A truly captivating experience of the history of the region.
