About us

CBS Canterbury Arena is one of New Zealand's largest purpose-built indoor sports and entertainment venues, located only 10 minutes from Christchurch central city. This striking facility plays host to sporting teams, exhibitions and special events. The arena has a maximum concert seating capacity of almost 9,000 although can be configured to more intimate modes. The venue is further complemented by The Tuck Shop Cafe located on the North concourse. Providing cafe and bistro styled food in a lively atmosphere with an array of comfortable spaces. Outside standard hours, the cafe can be transformed in to the perfect space for cocktail functions and other special events.
