Trentham Monkey Forest is unique in the UK, the only place you can walk amongst 140 Barbary macaques! Set in a beautiful Staffordshire woodland, the forest is home to 140 free-roaming monkeys – the endangered Barbary macaque. Wander along the 3/4 of a mile visitor pathway and watch the monkey antics unfold in front of you. The woodland walk is just less than a mile long and there are multiple information boards along the way. Hourly feeding talks take place at quarter past each hour and are a must watch. It is always recommended to take your time around the forest, stopping to take pictures and take in the monkeys fascinating behaviour – they’re extremely entertaining to watch!

Hack Green is the home to the largest display of nuclear weapons in Europe!

Take the fairy trail and keep your eyes peeled as you walk through the woodland, maze and gardens where the fairies live. There’s also the exciting adventure playground where children can tackle the assault course, fly down the zip wire, get creative in the sand pits, climb the nets, test their driving skills or get lost in the hide and speak maze. There is also a miniature train ride that travels along the lakeside too.
