Die Capital Brewery wurde 1984 gegründet und braute im Frühjahr 1986 ihre erste Charge Bier, ein Pils, und wurde gegründet, um traditionelles Lagerbier nach deutscher Art in Amerika zu brauen. Es hat sich um Biere nach amerikanischer Art, im Fass gereifte Biere und verschiedene IPAs erweitert. Capital Amber (der größte Verkäufer) ist seit 1999 in Dosen erhältlich.
Die Capital Brewery Bier Garten ist von April bis Oktober geöffnet und veranstaltet häufig Live-Musik sowie zahlreiche öffentliche und private Veranstaltungen. Es ist als „Middleton's Backyard“ bekannt und zieht in der Regel freitags von Mai bis September über 1500 Besucher an. Eine Bierterrasse wurde 2016 entlang der Terrace Ave hinzugefügt.
Die Bierstube und der Grain Room im Innenbereich sind in den Wintermonaten (ca. November bis April) geöffnet und stehen auch für private Veranstaltungen zur Verfügung. Führungen durch die Einrichtung können auf der Website geplant werden.

In August of 2016, chef Laurel Burleson launched the Ugly Apple Food Cart. She has been cooking in professional kitchens since high school and has a degree in hospitality management. After cooking for several years around Chicago and Madison, she saw how much was going to waste of this fantastic Midwestern produce. She envisioned owning a cafe that focused on delicious local produce.
Hence, the Ugly Apple was born.
Like the story of the Ugly Duckling, the Ugly Apple might not be bought at market but can still make a beautiful fritter.
