About us

Das Palazzo Avino ist ein atemberaubendes Fünf-Sterne-Deluxehotel an der berühmten Amalfiküste Italiens. Erbaut in einer ehemaligen Privatvilla aus dem 12. Jahrhundert für eine italienische Adelsfamilie und wurde 1997 als Hotel eröffnet. Der Palazzo Avino wurde als eines der besten Hotels der Welt eingestuft und bietet Zwei-Sterne-Michelin-Restaurants. Versteckt im mittelalterlichen Bergdorf Ravello und thront hoch auf den Klippen. Alle 32 Zimmer und Suiten sind mit handgefertigten Vietri-Fliesen, antiken Teppichen, Möbeln aus dem 18. und 19. Jahrhundert sowie Messingaccessoires und Applikationen dekoriert. Der Palazzo Avino bietet einen new meting room mit Tageslicht und separatem Zugang für bis zu 70 Personen. Besondere Partys oder Veranstaltungen können auch auf einer unserer Terrassen oder im privaten Restaurant organisiert werden.

We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
