About us
Ballywalter Park has been the home of the family for over 150 years and it is still very much a private house, whose fabric and contents continue to evolve, as they have, over time, according to the tastes and whims of the incumbent members of the Mulholland family. In past years, the glittering and spacious main reception rooms played host to grand house parties and Royal visits, with the Duke & Duchess of York – later King George VI and Queen Elizabeth coming to stay in 1924 and the Duke & Duchess of Gloucester in 1935. Now these rooms adapt easily to the needs of those seeking to organise a corporate dinner, a conference, a product launch or an incentive event. Indeed the possibilities are endless.
