The Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center, built in 1936, grew out of and expanded on the mission of the esteemed Broadmoor Art Academy to become one of the only multi-discipline arts institutions in the nation. Today it remains an amazing rarity — home to a nationally accredited art museum, Broadway-worthy theatre, a gourmet restaurant (Taste), retail art galleries and an art school for all ages and skill levels — essentially an entire arts district, under one roof. And it goes well beyond what you’d consider the boundaries of those disciplines, with standup comedy and concerts, epic parties in the Glass Corridor, and perks that take members inside the process of creating the arts.

Pikes Peak in Colorado is an American icon. From Native American tribes to early settlers to modern day travelers, this mountain resonates differently with each individual. Composed of granite and shaped by glaciers over millions of years, Pikes Peak mountain is a stunning backdrop for the modern city of Colorado Springs. The Ute Indians called it "Ta-Wa-Ah-Gath" or “Sun Mountain Sitting Big” and passed by the mountain as they traveled from their summer encampments to their winter hunting grounds. It was discovered by Spanish settlers during the 1700s. Modern travelers can experience the mountain up close by driving up the scenic Pikes Peak Highway, a spectacular toll road that winds its way up the mountain. Other visitors can experience a different side of the mountain of the Pikes Peak Cog Railway, the highest cog railway in the world. The more adventurous types can choose to hike the 13 mile Barr Trail or cycle up the highway to the summit. Whatever your choice, your time on Pikes Peak - America's Mountain is sure to be memorable.

Each chapel has its own entrance, and services may be held simultaneously without interfering with one another. The US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs is open to visitors daily. The Visitor's Center and Cadet Chapel are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Visitor Center and Cadet Chapel are closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. The Visitor Center is also closed Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.
