About us
The Equinox Resort, Vermont offers 185 guestrooms, with views of the Green Mountains and Taconic Ridge along with 18,500 Square feet of meeting space. Since first opening in 1769, our Manchester Village hotel has hosted national luminaries such as Ulysses S. Grant, Teddy Roosevelt, and Mary Todd Lincoln. Following a spirited round of golf, a visit to the Land Rover Experience Driving School, Orvis fly-fishing, or a day at our award-winning spa and pool, replenish at one of four exquisite dining venues, including the storied Marsh Tavern. The hotel is located on 1,300 acres, in Manchester Village, Vermont, within minutes of spectacular shopping, including quaint boutiques, art galleries, and antique shops, 70 minutes to Albany International Airport.

One generation later, Robert Todd Lincoln, the only child of Abraham and Mary Todd Lincoln to survive to adulthood, became Chairman of the Pullman Company, the largest manufacturing corporation at the turn of the 20th century.
