The Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa's conference and banquet rooms provide more than 17,000 square feet of indoor meeting space that can accommodate groups of 10 to 350 for meetings, conferences, banquets and private parties. In addition, the Hotel's Outdoor Plaza and Terrace, overlooking Monterey Bay, can host groups up to 600. The Hotel's ocean view meeting rooms are exceptional sites for executive retreats, conferences and seminars. Ballrooms with adjacent outdoor terraces offer beautiful waterfront settings for receptions and social events. The Outdoor Plaza in an exhilarating location for private cocktail parties, banquets, weddings or barbeques. Off-premise catering can also be arranged. State-of-the-art audio/visual equipment, ranging from projectors and screens to concert-quality sound systems, theatrical lighting and draperies, is available on-site. The range of activities and attractions nearby is nearly limitless. Launch an ocean kayak from the Hotel's beach, play a round of golf at one of 19 championship courses, go sailing, whale watch or scuba dive in the protected marine sanctuary of Monterey Bay. Walk to Fisherman's Wharf, Old Town Monterey or the Maritime Museum, or take a scenic drive to Carmel, Pebble Beach, 17-Mile Drive or Big Sur.
