About us
Welcome to the Swan at Forton, a traditional Eighteenth century coaching Inn, all wooden floors and open fire places, hearty food and comfortable en suite rooms. Situated on the Shropshire/Staffordshire border we are ideally positioned for events like the V festival, West Midlands game fair, Newport bike race Newport Nocture and of course Lilleshall National Sports Centre. The Swan is well placed for several local towns and we are approximately 20 minutes from Telford, Stafford and Market Drayton. The carvery can also be booked for parties of 25 or more on any evening. We have 10 en suite rooms that have all been designed for your comfort. In total we can accommodate 21 over night guests. is perfect for small to medium sized parties and weddings for those seeking more intimate bespoke events. Whether it’s a birthday or anniversary celebration or your wedding day, we can tailor the right package for you.
