Theatre-style Auditorium: 774 sq ft (Seating Capacity 75 maximum - 60 fixed theatre seating + 15 seats can be added) Members Lounge: 617 sq ft + entrance of 254 sq ft (Seating Capacity - 35 maximum variable seating / Standing- 100 maximum with area cleared) Terms and Conditions: * The Renter assumes responsibility for all damages to the property as well as any personal injuries to their guests resulting from the event. * A non-refundable $150 (or ½ of Total Owing – whichever is greater) deposit is required to hold the reservation * The Textile Museum of Canada is a non-smoking environment * Special Occasion Liquor permits are the responsibility of the renter. A copy must be displayed during event. Please forward a copy of the permit/liquor liability insurance to the museum no less than three days prior to the event. * Bar staff must be monitored by SmartServe certified individuals. * Catering is permitted, but heat sources must be monitored throughout the event * Food and drink are restricted to the mezzanine. No food or beverages are permitted in the exhibition areas * Animals, potted and garden plants are prohibited; however fresh cut flowers are welcomed * Renters wishing to use museum glassware and crockery are responsible for clean-up and return of materials to the servery. Permission to use items in the kitchenette or servery can only be granted by staff. * Additional fees may be charged for rental of the following: glassware, linens & table skirts, flatware, urns, television, VCR, laptops and/or projectors, security services for rentals outside of our regular public operating hours.
